Members of NHS Spread Some Holiday Cheer

On November 16, 14 members of the National Honor Society visited the Traces of Tiger assisted living facility to spread a little Christmas cheer.

The students visited both wings of the facility and decorated trees in the common rooms. Additionally, they met with some of the residents in the activity room to help them decorate a wreath for the doors to their individual rooms.

"It was an amazing afternoon," stated NHS sponsor Kelli Bly. "The students and residents quickly warmed up to each other, and they were talking and laughing throughout our time there."

As the students were leaving, the residents were talking about how much they enjoyed the visit and how they hoped the students could return soon.
