MS basketball sweeps past Rabun Gap

 
 

Both the Lady Indians and Indians MS teams took convincing wins over Rabun Gap on the road Monday evening. The Lady Indians won their game 27-18, with the boys' A-Team winning 50-35.

The Lady Indians took the 9-point win, controlling the low-scoring 27-18 final. LB Kafsky nearly matched Rabun Gap's total with 16 points, while Handley James and Payton McEntire had four points apiece.

The Indians grabbed a 15-point victory, though the game was closely contested throughout. TFS held only a 10-point lead at the break at 24-14. Anthony Deane dropped in a game-high 23 points. Brian Neely, Jr chipped in with 12 points, and Asa Popham had six. 

The Indians remain flawless at 5-0 on the season, while the Lady Indians move to 3-2 on the season. The girls play again Tuesday at home against Woody Gap, as do the boys' B-Team. The A-Team plays again next week.
