B-Team Indians drop contest against Woody Gap

 
 

The Indians middle school B-Team lost a 35-19 final to Woody Gap at home on Tuesday evening.

TFS fell behind 12-3 after the first quarter, and had a stronger second in which the Indians were outscored just 8-6. That still left an 18-9 hafltime deficit, and Woody Gap pulled away in the third. The visitors held a 25-12 advantage going into the final quarter.

Ayden Catledge nailed a 3-pointer to open the fourth and pull it back to a 10-point game, and Emmanuel Heyl scored four points late in the quarter.

Joshua Newell led with five points (including a 3-pointer in the third), Heyl had four, and Catledge three. Woods Irvin, Ryan Anderson, and Ryder Cantrell all finished with two points apiece, and Grantley Smith had one.

The Indians are now 0-2 on the season.
