TFS Announces Middle School Students of the Month for September

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for September in all grades as follows: 

Sixth-grade teachers have selected Dessa Guinn of Clarkesville as Student of the Month for September. Dessa is kind-hearted and impressively clever. She’s always the first to offer a helping hand to her classmates, whether explaining a tricky math problem or cheering someone up with a smile. Dessa excels in academics, consistently staying on top of her assignments and challenging herself to learn more. Her teachers often praise her for her insightful questions and eagerness to explore new ideas. With her combination of kindness, intelligence, and dedication, Dessa is a wonderful role model for her peers. Congratulations, Dessa.

Seventh-grade teachers have selected Baylin Cumberland of Locust Grove as Student of the Month for September. As a new student to TFS, Baylin has quickly emerged as an enthusiastic learner and gives 100% to everything she does in the classroom. She is engaged, curious, respectful, and dependable. Outside of her studies, Baylin participates in both of the middle school’s academic clubs, Science Olympiad and Junior Tome, and she is a member of both the Science Olympiad and Reading Bowl Teams. In addition, she joined the tennis team during the first nine weeks of school. Congratulations to Baylin.

Eighth-grade teachers have chosen Mary Kate Ball of Tiger as Student of the Month for September. Mary Kate is an enthusiastic learner and an impartial friend who gives her best and encourages her peers to do the same. She consistently demonstrates kindness, responsibility, and integrity. Congratulations to Mary Kate!
