Clubs

Tallulah Falls School offers many ways for students to be involved beyond the classroom. Clubs are offered at both the Upper School and the Middle School.

UPPER SCHOOL CLUBS

Art Honor Society

The Art Honor Society is open to anyone interested in art and finding ways to inspire and educate the TFS community and beyond through the arts. Members meet weekly. www.arteducators.org


Bakeology Club

The Bakeology Club serves others through baking (teachers, police officers, firemen, etc.). The club wants to share with the community, and desires to teach others how to bake because many students have not had the opportunity to learn. Though students have an opportunity to take Culinary Arts, this allows those who can't exposure to baking. Members meet once each month.


Chess Club

The goal of the Chess Club is to allow existing chess players to play against each other in competitive or friendly formats, while also helping those new to the game to improve their skills and play against others at their skill level.


Cinema Club

The Cinema Club explores the world of film by examining various genres of movies. Students will view films, share meaningful movie clips, discuss, and appreciate. Members meet on designated Fridays after school.


Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) meets weekly, and the purpose of the members is to spread the love of Jesus Christ and share the Gospel. All are welcome to attend. www.fca.org


Future Health Professionals Club

The Future Health Professionals Club helps students who are interested in going into a health-related career learn more about the medical field.


Global Citizens Awareness Panel

The Global Citizens Awareness Panel aims to empower, teach, lead, listen, share, connect, and unite the international and domestic community. Members meet every two months.


Great Books Club

The Great Books Club reads significant works of world literature, and has meaningful discussion. Members read two books per semester, with a meeting to introduce each book and a second meeting, cafe-style, to discuss the literature.


International Club

The International Club desires to welcome and assist new international students, and designs and leads the annual "International Day" celebrations at TFS. Both international and domestic students are invited to join.


International Thespian Society

The International Thespian Society recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement and celebrates the work of students in all aspects of theatre – performance and production. Each student is honored on a national level and gains access to opportunities and resources beyond those of their school. MEMBERSHIP is by invitation after accumulating points through service and involvement with theatre and performing arts productions. www.schooltheatre.org


Junior Classical League 

The Junior Classical League (JCL) is a nationally-recognized organization that provides opportunity for students to build communities around their love for the classics. www.njcl.org


Key Club

The Key Club aims to serve the school, community, and planet. Members of the Key Club meet every other week. www.keyclub.org


Math Club (Mu Alpha Theta)

The Math Club exists to practice for Mathematics Tournaments. Members meet weekly. www.mualphatheta.org


Model United Nations

Model United Nations Society seeks to promote:
To enable students to contribute to the richness of cultural diversity
To encourage leaders who will make positive contributions to an increasingly interdependent and multicultural world

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is made of members who are nominated and invited. The purpose of the NHS is to provide opportunities with members with a minimum GPA of 4.0 to develop leadership and positive character in the service of the school and community. Photography Club

The Photography Club cultivates a vibrant community of photographers driven by their shared passion for the art of visual storytelling. The club provides a platform for photographers of all levels to come together, inspire one another, and refine their craft.


Recycling Club

The Recycling Club collects paper and cardboard for recycling on campus. Members meet weekly as needed.


Robotics Club

The Robotics Club builds robots and competes in state competitions. Members meet every two weeks.


Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is a national organization that encourages students to challenge themselves in the area of STEM and develop a supportive community in their school! Students will participate in a Regional competition in early spring for a chance to qualify for a State competition. The competition offers categories in content knowledge, experiment execution, and engineering builds. www.soinc.org


SEA Club

The Saved Endangered Animals (SEA) Club uses monthly bake sales and other fundraising activities to donate all money to an organization to aid a different animal that is chosen every month at a meeting.


Skateboarding Club

The Skateboarding Club's purpose is to exercise, building competence, and enjoy the outdoors.


Tome Society

The Tome Society is not your average book club. The purpose of the Tome Society is to promote literacy through service, collaboration, and competition-based club activities. Members meet every two weeks. www.tomesociety.org


Tri-M Music Honor Society

The Tri-M Music Honor Society includes members who are enrolled in music class, maintain an 'A' in music classes and 'B' or higher in other academic courses. Members are students who demonstrate respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, kindness, and good citizenship, and have a love for music. Performance opportunities are available to members, as well as opportunities for leadership and service. Members meet as designated. www.nafme.org

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) meets weekly, and the purpose of the members is to spread the love of Jesus Christ and share the Gospel. All are welcome to attend. www.fca.org


Golf Development Club

The golf development club is for lower school students who would like to learn the basics of golf. The club usually meets for 10 weeks beginning mid-October.


Science Olympiad
