A-Team drops match with Elbert; B-Team earns draw

The MS volleyball teams were back in action on Wednesday evening at Elbert County. The A-Team took a 2-0 loss, while the B-Team earned a 1-1 tie.

The A-Team Lady Indians lost 14-25, 15-25 in straight sets. Tori Crotta, Nora Mitchell, and Emmalyn Whisnant each had aces, while Crotta and Mitchell each led with two kills. Crotta added a block.

The B-Team split with a 25-14 win in the opening set followed by a 14-25 loss in the second. Bella Sun has 10 aces, while Chloe McCallister had four aces and a 7-point serving run. Charlotte Hatcher had three aces as well, and led the team with two kills.

The A-Team is 0-1 on the season, while the B-Team is now 0-0-1.
