TFS names middle school Students of the Month for February
Faculty members at the Tallulah Falls School middle school have named four students of the month for February.
TFS fifth grade teachers selected Chloe Erwin of Demorest as their February student of the month. “Chloe was chosen for her non-stop work ethic,” said fifth-grade teacher Chrissy Van Hooser. “She always puts forth great effort and is very detail oriented. Chloe also goes beyond the norm to help others and is very kind.
The sixth-grade student of the month for February is Anna Grant of Demorest. “Anna is an excellent example of leadership,” said sixth-grade teacher Annette Shirley. “She leads by example and is dependable, hardworking, respectful and positive. Anna is also well respected by her teachers and peers in the classroom.”
The seventh-grade student of the month is Keelie Parks of Mt. Airy. “Keelie is organized, helpful, conscientious and creative,” said Kim McClurg, seventh-grade teacher. “She always goes the extra mile on all her academic assignments and her positive attitude and dependability are reflected not only in the classroom but also on the cheerleading team. She expresses gratitude and treats her teachers and peers with respect.”
Katelin Zhang of China is the eighth-grade student of the month. “Katelin is a determined and diligent student,” said Killen Jensen, one of Katelin’s eighth-grade teachers. “She is also very respectful, cheerful and positive. She always contributes to our class.”
