TFS names valedictorian and salutatorian

Tallulah Falls School has released the names of its top two graduates for the Class of 2019.

Virginia Griswold of Clarkesville, daughter of Kimberly Griswold and the late Milton Griswold, is the valedictorian.

Griswold will attend Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Nyah Williams of Cornelia, daughter of Pam Williams of Cornelia and John Williams of Jonesboro, is the salutatorian.

Williams will attend the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The pair delivered remarks at the commencement ceremony held Friday, May 17 at the Student Activity Center on the middle school campus.

Major General Thomas Carden Jr., Adjutant General of the Georgia Department of Defense provided the keynote address, with Dr. Eric Spivey, father of senior Sydney Spivey of Demorest, delivering inspirational remarks.
