TFS recognizes outstanding fine arts students for 2018-19

 
 

Tallulah Falls School recognized the accomplishments of its fine arts students at the school’s first Fine Arts banquet held May 9 at the Habersham EMC headquarters in Clarkesville. Students were presented with awards and honored in the areas of visual arts, music and theater.

Visual arts

During the visual arts portion of the program, TFS drama teachers Tina Cheek and Georganne Lanich honored students who had performed at the highest level throughout the 2018-19 academic year. 

National Art Honor Society senior honor graduates
These seniors were presented their honor cords to be worn during commencement, held May 17.

Theater

During the theater portion of the program TFS drama teacher Carrie Layer recognized students for outstanding work in the theater arts during the 2018-19 academic year. 

International Thespian Society (ITS) Troupe 8078 Star Recognitions
ITS star recognition goes to students who continue to achieve excellence within the theater arts. Each star represents the equivalent of 100 or more hours of theater excellence.
