TFS has named the Indians of the Week for the week of October 10-14. This week's selections are Dani Prince and Ryan Anderson for high school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK

Dani Prince - Cross Country

Senior Team Captain Dani Prince combines distinct academic prowess with a genuine desire to enhance peer bonding to be a strong leader of GREAT standards, a role model of teamness, and a memory maker. She has coordinated the annual Harrier Harvest and XC Senior Day for multiple years with exceptional planning and initiative. Respected and loved by her teammates for being caring, consistent, and cooperative, Dani impacts the team in a positive, lasting manner as well as a contributing member of the last two years state qualifying teams. -coach Scott Neal

Ryan Anderson - Cross Country

Freshman Ryan Anderson ran his personal best 5k time of 20:21.90 under the 10:00PM lights at the Pickens 'n Grinnin XC Invite, pulling teammate Alvaro Garcia to a personal record time and three places behind him. Only in his second harrier season, Ryan continues to pursue each meet with a gutsy mentality, unafraid of the discomfort inevitable in a sport with no time outs, no substitutions, and no cover from the environmental elements. The sport, with all its innate competitive, strategic, and bonding opportunities is quickly and stringently becoming a staple in his life. -coach Scott Neal
