Indians held to 35 points in Saturday loss to Athens Academy

The Indians dropped a 58-35 contest at home Saturday against Athens Academy.

TFS fell behind early, as Athens Academy was ahead 13-6 after the first and 22-13 going into the locker room. The deficit ballooned to 41-22 as Tallulah Falls failed to hit double figures in any one quarter until the fourth.

Zakhar Valasiuk led in scoring with 12 points, while Bryson Perdue added eight and Judah McIntosh chipped in with seven. Hayden Bootle had four points, and both Stevan Gabric and Marquis Rolle had two points.

The Indians are now 3-7 on the 2023-24 season. The JV Indians took a 52-40 loss to Athens Academy, dropping their record to 4-2 overall.
