Roache shines in Prep Baseball Futures Game

Junior infielder Ashton Roache was among the nation's elite to earn an invite to the Prep Baseball Futures Game, which took place this past weekend in Emerson, GA. More than 100 college coaches, including every Power 5 school, and scouts were in attendance, as the top baseball players from the Class of 2026 were participating.

In four games, Roache went 3-for-7 at the plate (.429 average), including a pair of hits from the left side and one from the right. He made stellar plays in the field at third base as well.

Roache is coming off a sophomore season in which he tallied 26 hits while batting .274. He had a team-high seven homeruns, which tied the school single-season record, and drove in 23 runs while scoring 37. He added eight doubles and a triple, 23 walks, 15 HBP, and 20 stolen bases. He registered a .463 OBP and slugged .589. For his efforts, he was named 2nd Team All-Region and a GA Dugout Club All-State Honorable Mention infielder.
