Junior varsity falls short against North Hall
CHAZ MULLIS - The JV Lady Indians took a tough loss on Tuesday night playing against North Hall. The aggressive Trojans gave the Indians little room to relax, ending the matchup at 42-29.
The Lady Indians struggled to find their footing in the first quarter, leaving more to be desired at 9-7. The request was accepted in the second, prompting Tanisha Seymour, Allie Phasavang and Kailyn Neal to strike a major comeback after being down 17-7.
Ending the half behind at 21-14, the Trojans continued to power ahead, ending the match at 42-29.
Top scorers for the matchup include Phasavang, who totaled seven points, and Barrett Whitener and Neal, who both tallied six points.
The JV ladies are now 1-1, and will go on to play Stephens County on Saturday.
