ESports Weekly Update: Mushrooms earn #4 state ranking

With 110 League of Legends teams across Georgia, the TFS Mushrooms are newly-ranked #4 in the state.

On Tuesday they defeated Gilmer 2-0 to improve their spring record to 9-1.

"Not only did the TFS Mushrooms win, but they also won the first game in a record 15 minutes," exclaims coach Casey Barron. "In the second game, TFS was winning in such dominating fashion, Gilmer surrendered during the game, giving TFS the victory."  

Meanwhile, the Rocket League Team, Tallulah Falls Indians, picked up a big win on Thursday, winning 3-0 over Langston Hughes. That moves them to an even 6-6 on the season.

"This TFS team continues to improve and play hard every week," adds Barron.  

The ESports teams open state tournament play following the upcoming Spring Break.
