Cassidy Hayes - Cheerleading

From the beginning of the season, Cassidy Hayes has demonstrated influential leadership skills. Without being instructed, Cassidy fell right into the leadership role of ensuring both the Varsity and Junior Varsity cheer teams are setting and reaching goals for the season. To start off the season strong, Hayes was eager to help teach her peers all of the cheer fundamentals. Cassidy is quick to take on a challenge and overcomes each one with confidence. She comes prepared to cheer practice each day with a positive attitude and is ready to help in any way. Her diligent and humble personality will make a long-lasting impact on TFS Cheer. -coach Rainen Wade

Caden Polley - Swimming

Caden Polley works hard in practice always seeking to go above and beyond in every set. Caden dropped time in both of his individual events this past weekend while also scoring 11 points for his team, helping the boy's squad swim to a first-place finish at this Saturday’s competition. -coach Rachel Nichols

Handley James - Basketball

Handley shows up early and works hard every practice. She was the leading scorer in the game against River Christian with 14 points. She is super commited and with her work ethic her game will improve this season and in the future. -coach Tykia Thompson

Teagan Penland - Swimming

Teagan Penland is our nominee for this week. Teagan had a fantastic meet at the Forsyth Central Invitational dropping time in both of his individual events. Teagan also broke the 30-second barrier in his 50-yard freestyle, which is huge! Teagan helped the team to a first-place finish by scoring 32 points.
