TFS has named the Indian of the Week for the week of January 23-28. This week's selections are Penny Damron and Emery Sims for high school, and Linda White and Isaac Farris for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK
Penny Damron - Cheerleading
Penny Damron has had a great first year of cheer. She has perfected her skills and works hard as a flyer on our cheer team. Penny puts in the effort each week and it shows! -coach Rainen Wade
Emery Sims - Swimming
Emery Sims is our boy nominee for this week. Emery has been putting in the effort this season to improve in his times. His efforts paid off this week when he swam to a new PR in the 100-yard backstroke by almost 3 seconds and qualified for the GHSA state championship meet with a time of 58.81. Emery also works to provide a strong Team atmosphere for his peers. He encourages others to be their best in and out of the pool. -coach Rachel Butler
ISAAC FARRIS - BASKETBALL
Isaac was the main contributor on defense this past week as the Indians claimed the Tri-State Championship over Towns County. Isaac had a great week in which he saw 12 points scored over two games, and locked down one of the best shooters in the tri-state region. Isaac continued to show grit and determination this week as a leader on the defensive end, and he is more than deserving of the IOW award. -coach Nathan Stanley
LINDA WHITE - BASKETBALL
Linda has a contagious positive attitude - she is always positive and works hard during practices and games. She shows great leadership skills in getting the team ready for games. This week and over the course of the season, she is a stealing machine. -coach Tykia Thompson
