TFS names middle school Students of the Month for February
Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for February in all grades as follows:
SAVANNAH PASTOR (LAKEMONT) - FIFTH GRADE
The fifth-grade teachers have chosen Savannah Pastor of Lakemont as Student of the Month for February. Savannah was selected because she is always nice and kind to her fellow students and teachers. She is extremely considerate of others. Savannah is a quiet contributor in her classes. We are proud of Savannah! -Chrissy Van Hooser
BETSEY ORR (TOCCOA) - SIXTH GRADE
Considerate, kind, and always ready for a challenge, Betsey Orr of Toccoa has been selected as the sixth-grade Student of the Month for February by her teachers. In class, Betsey consistently participates in discussions with thoughtful insights. Whether in the classroom or on the soccer field, Betsey accepts the problems before her and diligently works toward solutions. Very friendly, Betsey enjoys the company of her classmates and is an encouragement to those having a difficult day. -Travis Mullis
LUCAS WOODLAND (MARTIN) - SEVENTH GRADE
The seventh-grade teachers are proud to honor Lucas Woodland of Martin as the February Student of the Month. Lucas is new to TFS Middle School this year and has displayed remarkable resilience. Being unfamiliar with your surroundings is not easy, but Lucas has strived to make the best of his new environment. He has won over the hearts of his teachers, school counselor, and middle school staff while making some great friends. Lucas participates in choir and has supported both the fifth- and sixth-grade choir. As a student-athlete, Lucas plays goalie on the middle school soccer team. We are proud of all that Lucas has accomplished. Congratulations to Lucas on being named seventh-grade Student of the Month! -Nancy Almoyan
RYLEIGH WILSON (ALTO) - EIGHTH GRADE
The eighth-grade teachers have chosen Ryleigh Wilson of Alto as Student of the Month for February. Ryleigh is a young woman of great intelligence and integrity. A respectful and hardworking student, she always strives to do her best in everything she does. Most importantly, she seeks to encourage those around her and is always quick to point out others' positive qualities. Her leadership has impacted her classmates, teammates, fellow choir members, and the FCA student leadership team. -Hannah Gibson
