Tallulah Falls School Celebrates Three Winners in the 2023 Virtual Art Show by Georgia Independent School Association (GISA)

 
 

Tallulah Falls, GA - Tallulah Falls School (TFS) is proud to announce that three of its students have been named winners in the 2023 Virtual Art Show organized by the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA). The winners were selected from a pool of talented student artists from 168 private, independent K-12 accredited schools across the state. 

The TFS winners are Sarah Campbell, Elsie Sims, and Kexin ‘Amy’ Ma. Eighth-grader Sarah Campbell of Maysville won First Place in the Middle School Open Media 2D category; seventh-grader Elsie Sims of Clarkesville won First Place in the Middle School Open Media 3D category; and Junior Kexin ‘Amy’ Ma of Cumming, won Second Place in the High School Painting category. 

"We are extremely proud of our art students for their amazing achievement in the GISA Virtual Art Show. Their talent, creativity, and hard work are truly inspiring," said Cat Schappach, middle school art teacher at TFS. 

The GISA Virtual Art Show provides a platform for students to showcase their artwork and compete with their peers from other independent schools across Georgia. The competition is open to all students in grades K-12 from GISA-member schools and includes a wide range of categories such as painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, and sculpture.

"We are grateful to GISA for providing this opportunity for our students to showcase their artistic talents and compete with other talented students across the state. We are proud of all our students who participated in the competition and congratulate the winners on their outstanding achievement," said TFS President and Head of School Larry A. Peevy.
