JV boys upend White County

The JV soccer team scored early and often, and held White County at bay in a 10-0 win Monday, keeping their perfect record intact.

Marcos Alvarez Carrasco notched a hat trick with 3 goals and added 2 assists. Luis Varano Pastor had 2 goals in the win.

TFS had a slow start with a 2-0 lead going into the halftime break, but gathered themselves after the half with seven different players tallying both goals and assists in the second half. Each player received playing time and multiple players played different positions, showcasing their skill and versatility.

"Gavin Dodd has not let a goal in all season while Walker Wright, Harry Goldfine, Emery Sims, and Jacob Mitchell continue to help control and move the ball up the field," adds coach Ashley Farris. "The highlight of the evening was the final goal by defender Alvaro Garcia Breton assisted by defender Nick Edenfield."

The JV Indians are 6-0 on the season, and have one final game on March 27 against Habersham Central.
