MS Indians see early lead disappear as Towns County wins 9-3

The MS Indians quickly went up 2-0 on Towns County Tuesday evening, but ultimately fell in 9-3 fashion in Hiawassee.

TFS got on the board in the first on back-to-back bases-loaded walks by Reilly Cox and Brantley Addison, though Asa Popham was tagged for one in the home half. 

Despite Popham's hot start in which he struck out 5 batters in the first two innings, errors in the third inning led to Towns County taking the lead. Jack Greene had a big double in the fourth, but the home team went on to win 9-3.

The Indians are now 2-2 overall on the season.
