Lady Indians fall in heartbreaker to Mt. Vernon to end postseason run

The Lady Indians held a 2-0 lead before losing three consecutive sets to end their season in the Sweet 16 against #5 Mt. Vernon on Saturday evening at home.

#4-ranked TFS won the opening set 25-21, and took the second set 26-24 to put Mt. Vernon on the brink of elimination. Instead, a 22-25 loss in the third set was followed by a 17-25 fourth set and an 8-15 decisive fifth set.

The Lady Indians finished the season with a 30-15 overall record, and a fourth consecutive Sweet 16 or further run.
