MS Indians lose road match at White County

The MS Indians lost an 8-1 road match Tuesday evening, playing for a second straight night.

The defense held it to 3-0 in the first half, using a breakaway and a pair of PKs.

Avery Chatman scored on an assist by JT Head in the second half before the Warriors went for five more goals.

"Tough match to a very good White County side," says coach Travis Mullis. "In the first half, we moved the ball well and had several chances but just couldn't finish. Losing a couple of key players due to injury and conceding two PKs before halftime really broke our spirit. We played frantically in the second half, which is contrary to the spirit of the team. We'll regroup at training tomorrow and prepare to play at Lumpkin County on Thursday."

TFS is now 1-1-1 on the season.
