JV Indians use 7-run fifth to beat BASA in combined no-hitter

On Thursday, the JV Indians won a 12-1 game at BASA, highlighted by a 7-run fifth inning and a combined no-hitter.

After scoring a run in each of the first two innings, TFS held a 2-1 lead. A 3-run fourth and 7-run fifth put the game away. Jackson Savage had two hits, two RBI, and two runs scored, while Griffin Harkness had two hits, two runs, and an RBI. Six different players had hits.

Robert Grant picked up the victory by going four innings, walking just three and giving up one unearned run with nine strikeouts. Asa Popham finished the game with an inning with one walk and two strikeouts.

The Indians are now 11-1 on the season.
