The Lady Indians won a 16th consecutive match, which netted a second straight region title. The Indians lost a 3-2 decision in the title match, as both teams took on Rabun County at Elbert County Wednesday evening.

The Lady Indians earned a 3-0 win, all coming at singles. The doubles combos were winning as well before the match was clinched. The Indians got wins at 1- and 2-singles, but dropped the remaining lines.

"We are so pumped for our girls," exclaims coach Anthony Cox. "Region champions two years in a row, and they have been so solid all season. All of our girls maintained focus despite many potential distractions. Our boys lost a tough one, but we will be ready for the next stage of the postseason next week."
