State Playoff Preview: Girls Tennis

 
 

After a first round BYE, the Lady Indians tennis team is seeking to advance to back-to-back Quarterfinals (Elite 8). TFS is a perfect 16-0 on the season, and fresh of its second straight region title. 

The Lady Indians have been about unbeatable at every line. Ariel Kelsick is currently 15-0, and is the all-time singles wins leader in school history. Jaeda-Lee Daniel-Joseph is one win behind her, and she is 13-3 on the year. The duo have swapped from 1- and 2-singles throughout, though Daniel-Joseph plays more often at 1-singles. Azaria Junaid has gone 13-1 this season as well at 3-singles.

The 1-doubles combo of Ava Carnes and Charlotte Stafford has gone 14-0, setting the single-season wins record for a doubles unit. 2-doubles has been primarily anchored by Keira Webb and Landry Carnes, who have combined to go 7-1.

Tallulah Falls will host Mt. Vernon on Monday at home in the Sweet 16.
