State Playoff Preview: Boys Tennis (Sweet 16)

Tallulah Falls is forced to hit the road for the Sweet 16 in the GHSA State Tournament. After a convincing victory at home last week over 3-seed Social Circle, the 2-seed Indians travel to 1-seed Darlington.

The Indians have been guided by junior singles players Tanner Davis (14-3) and TJ Cox (12-5) all season. Glad Puscasu at 3-singles has gone 6-3, and the 1-doubles combo of Zach Carringer and Jake Owensby are 9-3 together. 2-doubles has been constantly changing for TFS, though Fabian Deppe and David Plaisted (2-2 together) played in the first round.

The Indians are 10-7 on the season, and are competing in their third straight Sweet 16. The boys have never advanced to the Elite 8, so there's a chance to make history on Tuesday when going to Darlington.
