All-Region Girls Tennis: Kelsick, Carnes & Stafford take POY honors

Tallulah Falls Lady Indians tennis dominated all season long, going 16-1 for a second year in a row, also nabbing back-to-back region titles and Sweet 16 or deeper appearances. TFS was rewarded with several All-Region selections.

Senior Ariel Kelsick was named Singles Player of the Year, and the sophomore combo of Ava Carnes and Charlotte Stafford took Doubles Team of the Year honors. Sophomore Jaeda-Lee Daniel-Joseph was named 1st Team All-Region at 2-singles, with sophomore Azaria Junaid earning 1st Team status at 3-singles. Junior Landry Carnes and sophomore Keira Webb were 1st Team at 2-doubles.

Kelsick was 15-1 on the season and finished atop the all-time singles win board with 30, though Daniel-Joseph tied that mark on the final match. The latter was 14-3 on the season. Junaid was 14-1. Ava Carnes and Stafford at 1-doubles went 14-1, setting the single season mark for a doubles combo. Landry Carnes and Keira Webb combined to go 7-2.
