Soccer standouts earn All-Star game nods

A slew of TFS soccer players have earned opportunities to play in State All-Star games.

DiVarsity All-Star

Jenna and Josie Chesser for the Lady Indians have been selected for the 2024 All-Star DiVarsity game, which will be played on Saturday, May 18. Senior forward Jenna and junior defender Josie will play for coach Erin Jimenez on the 'Red' team. Jenna Chesser, who had a team-high 18 goals with three assists and three hat tricks, was named 1A Girls Student-Athlete of the Year by DiVarsity as well. Josie Chesser had three goals and two assists.

GACA All-Star

Meanwhile, Indians junior forward Landon Hall was elected to play in the GACA All-Star game. Hall had a great season, scoring 10 goals and adding 11 assists. His 21 career goals ranks 8th in school history, and his 22 assists ranks third. Along with Hall, Lady Indians senior midfielder Tessa Foor (3 G, 2 A) was selected to the GACA All-Star game. Jimenez will also coach in this game.

East-West All-Star

The Lady Indians also had two others earn All-Star game honors. Foor was included for this honor as well, along with senior midfielder Iva Ristic (2 G, 1 A).
