Boys soccer nets four GACA All-State honors

The 2024 Indians soccer team earned more honors. The Georgia Athletic Coaches Association named its Boys Soccer All-State teams, and four TFS players earned the distinction.

Senior Austin Ball and junior Kelton Reynolds were named 1st Team All-State. Ball, a forward, is the all-time and single-season record holder for goals (86 career) and assists (48), as well as hat tricks (15). His 34 goals this season were just five shy of his single-season mark set in 2023 of 39. Reynolds, the star keeper, has a school record 25 career shutouts, including eight this season after a record 13 in 2023. He also had a single-season record of 92 saves this year, and has a TFS-best 213 in his career heading into his senior year.

Senior Jake Wehrstein and junior Landon Hall were named 2nd Team All-State. Wehrstein, a multi-All-State selection at defense, had eight goals and four assists this season, and was vital to the Indians' eight shutouts. He has been a mainstay on the back line for several years. Hall, a midfielder, posted 10 goals and 11 assists. He enters his senior year with 21 goals and 22 assists over two seasons. He does much that doesn't show up in the box score, but has a high IQ on the pitch.
