TFS Welcomes Back Director of Security Dustin Rogers

TFS welcomes back our Director of Security, Dustin Rogers. Rogers’ unit was deployed to Boleslawiec, Poland, for nine months. This was his last deployment, as he is set to retire in 2025 after 26 years of service to our country. Rogers’ tours as a military policeman included  Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Basra, Iraq; Cairo, Egypt; and Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

This will be Rogers's tenth year as Director of Security. He heads up a nine-member school security team. Most of the members of Roger’s team are retired state and federal law enforcement officers.

“We always have a security officer on each campus. We have an access control point manned by a security officer during the school day, and we have over 100 cameras across campus,” said Rogers. “We also regularly conduct safety drills with our students to prepare for potential situations.”

The security team thoughtfully engages with students between classes, during lunch and supper, and at their extracurricular activities. “We sit with students, talk to students, and attend their activities,” said Rogers. "Security keeps a presence on campus at all times -- at athletic events, fine arts events, and any other event hosted on our campus. By staying involved in our students' lives, they feel safe and secure, and we keep them safe and secure."
