Indians of the Week for week ending May 7
TFS has named the Indian of the Week for the week of May 2-7. This week's selections are Dani Prince and Nana Amankwah. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK
Dani Prince - Track & Field
HS Girl
Sophomore Team Leader Dani Prince was the lead off leg for three relays at the State Track & Field Section B meet, held at Providence Christian. Her 400m relay quartet set a season best and barely missed out on qualifying. She ran her best race splits in the 800m and 1600m relays, helping those relays advance to the State Championships. A critical thinker with a positive outlook, Dani consistently finds a team need and fills it, often spending many hours behind the scenes to help celebrate others and strengthen the team's Be GREAT motto. -coach Scott Neal
Nana Amankwah - Track & Field
HS Boy
Junior Nana Amankwah had his best races of his career in the 400m and 800m relays as the leadoff leg at the State Track & Field Section B meet, held at Providence Christian. Nana takes initiative and is highly focused, conscientious, calm, and considerate. He is certainly a role model in the weight room; his technique is video material and his ability to share and demonstrate to others is appreciated. -coach Scott Neal
