Lady Indians golf beats Banks County; Brooks leads boys in losing effort
The Tallulah Falls golf teams took on Banks County on Thursday afternoon at Chimney Oaks. The Lady Indians took their second straight win, while the boys took a loss.
The girls were paced by Mallory Higgins and Hannah Lundy, who shared low medalist honors when firing a 34 each. Reagan Duncan carded a 37 and Madeline Martin a 38 as TFS won 68-98 over Banks County in a 6-hole event.
The Indians lost 155-129 in the 7-hole contest. Canon Brooks was just 2 strokes behind the low medalist, carding a 33. Tate Turpin shot a 37, Henry Bowman and Kalvin Ngov 41 apiece.
Tallulah Falls returns to the course on March 6 at The Orchard against Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy.
