Boys golf opens season in White County tournament

Tallulah Falls golf got the season started on Saturday at the White County Golf Tournament at Apple Mountain.

TFS finished 12th out of 16 teams. 

"We started off very strong and competitive but didn't stay consistent throughout the match," says coach Matt Crotta. "Each of the three groups had some birdies. Unfortunately, each group had some double pars too. All three groups really did a great job with the mental side of the game and staying focused."

Ryder Cantrell and Rylee Smith combined for 78. Will Greene and Tate Turpin scored an 80, and Kalvin Gnov and Hunter Bell pulled an 88.
