Rifle advances in state tournament with sectionals win over Paulding County
Advance and move on! The Tallulah Falls rifle team on Monday beat Paulding County 1136-1063 in the State Sectionals round at home.
Sophomore and first-year athlete Mitchell McGahee posted a team-high 287, besting his own PR by 10 points. Kylee Loudermilk (284), Marc Crotta (283), Ethan Simmons (283), and Zeek Pruitt (267) followed.
The Precision Rifle team is now 13-0 on the season and will move on to the State Semifinals at home on March 1 against Kendrick High School. The match is set to begin at 2 PM.
