Season Preview: MS Volleyball
The MS Lady Indians rolled all the way to the North Georgia Volleyball League Championship, finishing as Runner-Up. Several standouts from last year’s middle school roster moved up to the high school level. Those include Ca’Rin Swinton, Payton McEntire, Keely Franks, Lily Smith, and Finlee Ridlehoover among others.
However, plenty of talent remains from the 13-8 season. The group that TFS and coach Matt Crotta will build around consists of key starters Nora Mitchell and Becca Roberts. Emma Whisnant and Tori Crotta are also key returning players.
The MS Lady Indians open play on August 10 in a Jamboree at Wilbanks Middle School against schools such as Stephens County, Hart County, and Madison County. The regular season officially begins on August 12 at home against Stephens County.
