Roberts records first multi-hit game as TFS drops 14-1 district contest

Juliana Roberts recorded the first multi-hit game for Tallulah Falls in a 14-1 loss Tuesday to Athens Christian.

TFS scored in the first inning to take a quick 1-0 lead. Charlotte Stafford led off with a base hit, and Katie Anderson singled to put a pair of baserunners on. Roberts singled to load the bases before Stafford came home on a steal. Abby McCoy singled moments later, but Athens Christian would escape the jam without any further damage.

In total, TFS had five hits, including Roberts notching a pair. McCoy, Anderson, and Stafford accounted for the rest. Callie Craver struck out two in three innings of work.

The Lady Indians move to 0-5 overall and are now 0-2 in District 4-AAA/AAAA.
