MS tennis teams open season with wins over Banks
The MS tennis teams opened their 2024 season at Banks County, and both came out with similar 4-1 victories. The girls swept the singles matches and won at 1-doubles. The boys had the same results.
"It was a really great first match for both squads today," says coach Anthony Cox. "I am really proud of the girls' effort to secure a victory today after a difficult season last year. The boys were down a man at 2-singles, but everyone was solid with a 'next man up' mentality. Habersham will be a tough test tomorrow in preparation for our first SML match at Habersham on Thursday."
Both teams are now 1-0 on the season.
