A-Team wins again, B-Team comes up short against Habersham

The MS volleyball teams squared off with Habersham on Monday evening, with the A-Team keeping its streak going with a 2-1 win. The B-Team dropped its match against Wilbanks.

The A-Team won 26-24, 22-25, 15-6 in a tight contest. Emma Whisnant led the girls offensively with five kills and two aces. Tori Crotta had a season-high with 12 aces along with four kills. Meanwhile, Nora Mitchell (five aces) while McKenzie McCoy (four) contributed as well. Becca Roberts didn't miss a single serve on the night, and added three aces and two kills. Izzy Watts added a kill.

The B-Team lost in straight sets to Wilbanks. Chloe McCallister had two aces and Shelby Simmons and Bella Sun had an ace apiece.

The A-Team is now 4-1 overall and 2-0 in league play, while the B-Team drops to 1-3-1.
