Crotta, Mitchell lead TFS in efforts against Franklin County

The MS volleyball teams put up a valiant effort against Franklin County on Wednesday. Both the A-Team and B-Team came up just short.

TFS lost 27-29, 22 -25 in matches that came down to the wire. Tori Crotta had six aces and five kills, while Nora Mitchell four aces and two kills. Emma Whisnant (three aces, three kills) and Becca Roberts (two aces, three kills) were key contributors. 

The B-Team also lost both sets, 9-25, 14-25. Maelyn Carlyle had two aces and three kills, Kourtney Hunter had an ace and three kills, and Shelby Simmons finished with a kill. Bella Sun and Charlotte Hatcher both had an ace.

The A-Team moves to 5-2, and the B-Team is 1-4-2.
