A-Team wins, B-Team splits against Elbert

Tallulah Falls hosted Elbert County on Wednesday. The MS A-Team earned a huge win in three sets, while the B-Team split.

The A-Team won 25-23, 20-25,15-12. Emma Whisnant lifted up the team with flawless serving, resulting in four aces on the night while adding six kills. Nora Mitchell contributed three aces and three kills. Tori Crotta finished with one ace and eight kills along with a block. Becca Roberts posted two kills.

The B-Team split with Elbert, losing the first set 14-25 but winning the second 25-22. Chloe McCallister led with seven aces on the night. Bella Sun got her serving groove back and dropped in three huge aces to help win the second set. Kourtney Hunter finished with three kills, Charlotte Hatcher and Emily Savage both had two, while Shelby Simmons and Sun each finished with one kill.

The A-Team advances to 7-2, while the B-Team is 1-5-3 overall.
