TFS names middle school Students of the Month for February

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for February 2022 in all grades as follows: 

Fifth grade – Henry Dumas

Fifth-grade teachers have selected Henry Dumas of Clarkesville as the Student of the Month for February. 

Henry always gives his best in class. He strives to be a good classmate and friend. He always seeks to do what is right whether it is academically or socially. We are proud of Henry!

Sixth Grade – Catherine Harris and Christian David

Sixth-grade teachers have selected Catherine Harris of Toccoa and Christian David of Cleveland as the Students of the Month for February.

Catherine Harris

Catherine is hard-working, respectful, and trustworthy. She has worked very hard to improve her grades in each subject area. Catherine is a great friend, and always looks for ways to lend a helping hand. Along with being a great student, she is a three-sport athlete who participates in cross-country, swim, and track. She is a well-balanced student-athlete who leads by example. 

Christian David 

Christian is kind, self-motivated, & academically driven. He is a pleasant young man, who is a team player when working on group projects.  He is respected by his teachers and peers.  Christian leads by example, showing a positive attitude in all circumstances. Christian goes above and beyond expectations in the classroom to produce high-quality work.

Seventh Grade – Hawk Oliver

Seventh-grade teachers have selected Hawk Oliver of Otto, NC as the Student of the Month for February. 

Hawk has a wonderful sense of humor; he keeps both his teachers and classmates laughing.  He never complains about anything, and his teachers have noted his positive attitude repeatedly throughout this school year. Working with the end goal always in mind, Hawk is willing to correct and redo assignments, which shows his persistence and tenacity as a student.  Outside of school, Hawk enjoys reading and golf and is a member of the TFS Golf Club. Congratulations to Hawk!

Eighth Grade – Sarah Lundy

Eighth-grade teachers have selected Sarah Lundy of Clarkesville as the Student of the Month for February. 

Sarah is committed to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. She lives with integrity, kindness, and respect for others. She is an invaluable team player.
