State Playoff Preview (Final 4): Baseball

It's been quite the historic last couple of weeks for Tallulah Falls. The #4-ranked Indians secured a 2-0 series win over Swainsboro, completing a big comeback in game two to win 7-6.

Chase Pollock had a pair of doubles in the win, and BJ Carver notched his second game-winning hit of the playoffs. Cole Bonitatibus relieved Andrew Skvarka, as the duo combined for nine strikeouts in the finale. Pollock threw a complete game shutout in the first game.

Now, TFS (25-10) will travel to 1-seed King's Ridge. The Tigers are 29-8 overall, and took down Armuchee (Rnd 1), Social Circle (Sweet 16), and Irwin County (Elite 8) to reach this point. They are 11-4 at home and average 8.1 runs per game against 2.4 allowed. While there's not much to draw from in terms of how TFS and #2-ranked King's Ridge stack up against each other, they do have one common opponent - Prince Avenue Christian. King's Ridge lost 3-2 to Prince, and TFS lost 12-2 and 12-10 in a pair of meetings.
