TFS Introduces New Upper School Academic Dean Jeremy Stille

We are excited to introduce Tallulah Falls School’s new upper school academic dean, Jeremy Stille. Originally from Miami, Florida, Stille and his wife Jennifer have lived in Habersham County since 2015. They have built their family here in Northeast Georgia with their three sons, ages seven, four, and two.

Stille comes to this position with 12 years of classroom teaching experience, including a three-year stint in Mexico and four years as a teacher in the TFS upper school history department. He served as the TFS upper school assistant academic dean for the 2023-2024 school year.

“Jeremy has a strong background as a teacher, a coach, and an administrator. He brings proven leadership from the classroom and the athletic field,” said president and head of school Dr. Larry A. Peevy. “Stille keeps his hand on the pulse of the community. He has a tremendous rapport with the teachers and students. He will continue to coach the varsity boys' soccer team and teach a class.”

Last year, Stille assisted teachers with curriculum development, classroom instruction, and pedagogy. “I enjoy talking with teachers about how they engage students and finding innovative ways to keep students motivated, thinking critically, and forming their understanding of the curriculum,” Stille said. “I will continue to look at academic programs and ensure that the curriculum best suits TFS students and prepares them for college.”

He is passionate about building community and programming. “I want to see our clubs become more involved in the TFS community and the community at large,” he said. He plans to continue working on the house program to bring more character education and prepare TFS students to grow into well-rounded citizens and graduates.

Stille also looks forward to working closely with TFS families and faculty. “I want to bring families into the TFS experience and community,” he said.

He is heavily invested in the students and the programs offered at the school. Stille enjoys bringing his oldest son to the theatre productions at TFS. “We attend every theatre showing on campus,” Stille said. “He loves the theatre!”

Stille is looking forward to working with President Peevy and the senior staff. "I am excited to be a part of the growth at TFS as we continue enhancing the great academic and character development programs that have been in place at TFS over the past 18 years," Stille said.
