TFS names middle school Students of the Month for April

 
 

 

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for April in all grades as follows: 

Fifth grade – Ellie Shaw

Fifth-grade teachers have selected Ellie Shaw of Baldwin as the Student of the Month for April. 

Ellie comes to school with a smile on her face and is kind to everyone all day long. She works hard in class and always tries to do her best. We all enjoy Ellie's humor in the classroom! We are proud of Ellie!

Sixth Grade – Delany Johnson

Sixth-grade teachers have selected Delaney Johnson of Toccoa as the Student of the Month for April.

Delaney was presented this award for her outstanding work in and out of the classroom. Delaney is self-motivated, on-task and focused on academics. She is also hard-working, kind, pleasant and a team player."

Seventh Grade – Carsyn Griffis

Seventh-grade teachers have selected Carsyn Griffis of Tallulah Falls as the Student of the Month for April. 

Carsyn is a motivated student who makes the most of every learning opportunity, whether in the classroom or extracurricular activity. She always strives to do her very best on assignments and projects and takes on each new task with a positive attitude and a smile. She is extremely well-rounded and has participated in cross country, swimming and FCA. She even accepted a new challenge this year and was a part of the middle school's award-winning reading bowl team! Most recently, her peers and teachers have witnessed her incredible courage, perseverance and resilience. Congratulations to Carsyn, seventh-grade Student of the Month!

Eighth Grade – Cole Borchers and Lily Turpin

Eighth-grade teachers have selected Cole Borchers of Cornelia and Lily Turpin of Demorest as the Students of the Month for April. 

Cole has proven his sense of responsibility, integrity, and respect for others. He has demonstrated outstanding creativity and depth of thought in his work and participation in class.
