The Indians baseball team got off to a great start in their season opener against East Hall, winning 11-0 in a run-ruled game paired with a combined no-hitter by Chase Pollock and Andrew Skvarka.

The TFS bats were hot early, jumping out to a 1-0 lead in the first behind a single from Diego Gonzalez, which drove in Caden Walker. Danny Grant contributed as well, driving in another run in the second inning making the score 3-0. The pitching for the Indians was spotless, with Pollock pitching four hitless innings.

East Hall struggled on both sides of the ball. In the fourth inning, TFS really took control thanks to several walks by East Hall, making it 9-0. A late single that drove in two runs made it 11-0. East Hall was unable to get anything going offensively at the top of the fifth inning, and the game was called after 4 ½ innings.

Tallulah Falls had nine hits, as Ashton Roache and Grant had two hits apiece. Gonzalez, Roache, and BJ Carver had two RBI each. Pollock earned the win with four innings of no-hit ball and 10 strikeouts against a single walk. Skvarka had a hitless frame with two punchouts.

The next game for the Indians (1-0) is Friday at Athens Academy.
