JV Indians clobber BASA, 17-1

The JV Indians won by a landslide on Tuesday at home against BASA, 17-1.

It was a 3-inning affair, which featured TFS scoring 10 in the first and seven in the second. Wyatt Dorsey led the explosion, and got the game off right with a 2-run double in the first. Jackson Savage had a 2-run single, Justin Miller added an RBI single, and Dorsey got a second AB in the frame. He brought home two more on a base hit.

A pair of bases loaded walks in the second stretched the lead, and Dorsey singled home Brantley Allen. Drew Barron had a run-scoring hit as well, as did Merrick Carnes. Seven different players had hits for the Indians. Dorsey went 3-for-3 with five RBI and two runs. Griffin Harkness had 3 RBI and two runs along with two hits, while Savage ended with two hits, three RBI, and three runs.

Harkness picked up the win by going all three innings, giving up one unearned run on two hits, no walks, and four strikeouts. The Indians are now 8-0.
