Katie Anderson - Softball

Because of Katie Anderson's leadership, and improvement at the plate and in the field, she has helped us as a team to continue to improve as competitors. She has been very coachable and has a team-first attitude. -coach Jenny Long

Steven Jackson - Cross Country

Freshman Steven Jackson has continued to push through some nagging issues, yet has remained upbeat, determined, and mentally tough. He set his 5k personal record and course best time of 23:50.69 at the Heroes XC Invite, placing in the top half of harriers as well as the #1 TFS JV runnner. We are proud of how well Steven is combining the mental fortitude, race and practice strategies, positive outlook, and team contributions! -coach Scott Neal

Tae Hong/Ruby Sue Anderson - Tennis

Tae Hong and Ruby Sue Anderson at 2-doubles had their first match together on Thursday versus Habersham and came away with the only win. Despite limited practice together, they communicated well and worked hard for the win. They handled the pressure with grace and poise. Each practice we see them improve and strive to be better. We look forward to watching this partnership grow and be even more successful throughout the season. -coach Anthony Cox

Micah Smith/Maddox English - Tennis

Micah Smith and Maddox English (2-doubles) were on a roll this week winning both matches they played together. They have been very successful this season even though this is their first time being paired up. While it has been an adjustment, both young men have handled it well. They have been kind to their opponents and worked extremely hard for their wins. We are excited to see their successes this season and growth as young men. -coach Anthony Cox
