JV volleyball plays in Gold Bracket of Providence Tournament

 
 

The JV Lady Indians played well on Saturday, moving to the Gold Bracket in the Providence Christian Academy tournament.

The girls went 2-1 in pool play, beating King's Ridge (25-20, 20-19) and Druid Hill (24-26, 25-14, 16-14) to qualify for the Gold Bracket. TFS then lost four straight sets to Trinity Christian and Providence Christian to finish last in the bracket.

Tori Crotta had 14 aces on the day and 13 kills, while Stella Bowman had nine kills, nine blocks, and three aces. Keely Franks had seven aces and tons of digs to contribute heavily to the success of the team. Finlee Ridlehoover fed countless sets for the offense to swing at.

The Lady Indians move to 7-9 on the season.
